Jack and Alastair Bye are farmers conducting an on-farm trial with five lucerne varieties. Germinal is hosting this open day on Tuesday 26 April 2022 in conjunction with Jack and Alastair to give farmers and merchants the opportunity to see the best practices and benefits of growing lucerne.
Jack has a wealth of practical experience after growing lucerne for more than 15 years, while son Alastair wrote his dissertation at Seale Hayne College on lucerne and was awarded a distinction.
